چکیده

این مقاله در پی بازفهمی انقلاب فرهنگی به عنوان مهمترین رویداد دانشگاهی پس از انقلاب و تأثیرات آن بر علوم انسانی و اجتماعی دانشگاهی است. انقلاب فرهنگی حرکتی سیاسی بود که بسط آن در بستر زمان، موجب تغییراتی در حیات دانشگاهی شده و سرانجام منتهی به تأسیس نهادی رسمی، ابتدا با عنوان ستاد انقلاب فرهنگی و سپس شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی، بر فراز وزارت علوم برای کنترل زیست آکادمیک شد.
پرسش اصلی مقاله این است که در فرایند بسط و نهادینگی انقلاب فرهنگی، چگونه علوم انسانی به مهم‌ترین دشوارۀ این جریان تبدیل شد و ایده‌هایی مثل «اسلامی‌سازی علوم انسانی» و «تولید علوم انسانی اسلامی» امکان ظهور یافت؛ ایده‌هایی که طرح آن‌ها متضمن اعلام نوعی بی‌اعتمادی به علوم انسانی دانشگاهی بود. حمایت حکومت از این ایده‌ها سویۀ علمی آن‌ها را به حاشیه رانده و موجب کاهش مشارکت دانشگاهیان در آن شد. از سوی دیگر، مشارکت روحانیون در تحقق این ایده‌ها، تصویری از تقابل میان روحانیت با دانشگاه پدید آورد و به ایدۀ نزاع ایدئولوژی با دانش دامن زد. این وضعیت از سویی موجب تضعیف موقعیت علوم انسانی و اجتماعی در میدان آکادمی شده و به گسترش این علوم در حوزۀ عمومی کمک کرده‌است.
این مقاله با بررسی اسناد و مدارک رویداد انقلاب فرهنگی و بازخوانی روایت کنشگران آن و نیز سنجش پیامدهای آن، شامل طرح‌هایی مثل اسلامی‌کردن علوم انسانی و تولید علوم انسانی اسلامی، نشان می‌دهد که مداخلۀ سیاست و ایدئولوژی در بازی علم دانشگاهی، نه‌تنها ضرورتاً به نتایج مورد نظر نخواهد رسید، بلکه می‌تواند پیامدهایی نامطلوب هم به دنبال داشته‌باشد.
