Reading of Qarachuxa Novel and interpretative community of Azarbaijani Turks

Abstract
Qarachuxa is a Turkish Novel written by a linguist. This novel has been highly appreciated by the community of Turkish speakers. Multiple themes of this novel and the nostalgic feeling it arouses in Azarbaijani Turkish readers are very interesting. This paper attempts to understand the Qarachuxa by Turkish-speaking readers. This study has shed the light on the way lived experiences of audiences of novel is used to construct the elements of novel and the role of interpretation community in reception of text and construction of meaning has also been subject to analysis. With respect to method /technique, focused group is deployed to comprehend the reception of Turkish-speaking readers and the way interpretative community affects their reading manner. Three focused group discussions has been carried out amongst three groups of audiences from different social classes and strata: academic, non-academic and educated people who were not professional readers and novel audiences and had no civil activities and academic educated people who were professional readers and also had civil activities. Then their views were categorizes and analyzed. The findings indicate that reading is a social activity which is affected by history, social context of surrounding milieu, and social background of the reader and also every reader uses his/her social background, attitudes, and beliefs as a source when reading texts.
