چکیده
یکی از چالش‌های مهم خانواده در جهان معاصر، تعارض میان پیشبرد ضرورت‌های زندگی مشترک و دغدغۀ «تحقق بخشیدن به خود» در میان زوجین است. این پژوهش به‌دنبال پاسخ به این پرسش است که زنان طبقۀ متوسط ایرانی در زندگی مشترک خود چه نسبتی بین واقعیت‌های زندگی و رؤیاهایشان می‌بینند و چه راهبردهایی را برای رفع این فاصلۀ احتمالی اتخاذ می‌کنند. با مرور برخی نظریات و پژوهش‌های غربی که الزامات زندگی مشترک و چالش تحقق خود را در نظر گرفته‌اند و وام‌گیری از مفاهیمی مانند تقسیم کار جنسیتی، انجام کار خانگی، نگهداری از کودکان و هنجارهای والد بودن، تلاش شده تا این چالش در متن جامعۀ معاصر ایرانی نیز واکاوی شود. پژوهش حاضر با استفاده از رویکرد اتنوگرافیک و به‌مثابۀ یک پژوهش کیفی به اجرا «درآمده» است. روش اصلی گردآوری داده‌ها مصاحبۀ عمیق‌با دوازده زن متأهل ساکن تهران است. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهند که ایجاد تعادل میان زندگی خانوادگی و «تحقق خود» در بسیاری از خانواده‌ها، چالشی جدی و اساسی است. بسیاری از زنان واقعیت‌های زندگی را در تناقض به خواسته‌های اصلی خود می‌بینند و به‌نظر می‌رسد رواج تقسیم‌کار مشارکتی، می‌تواند به کاهش این چالش کمک کند.

The Problem of Balancing between Family Life and self –realization among Iranian Married Women

As confirmed by many studies, balancing between advancing the necessities of marriage and the concern of self-realization among couples is an important challenge for families in the current world. This research seeks some proper answers to the question of how Iranian middle-class women make a connection between the reality of their life and their dreams in the marital relationship and what strategies they follow to fill the gap. Some western contemporary research take the challenge between necessities of marital life and self-realization into consideration. Adopting concepts such as gender-based division of labor, women’s work at home, and child rearing, this research analyzes these challenges in the context of Iranian contemporary society. This paper employs ethnographic approach. to qualitative research. We conducted 12 in-depth interviews with married woman inhabiting in Tehran to gather data. The findings indicate that the challenge is a serious one in Iranian context. Many of interviewees believed that marital necessities are in contrast with their main demands. It seems that the prevalence of cooperative division of labor can be considered as a possible response to this challenge.
