Interaction of Lifestyle and Identity in Constructing Youth Digital Subcultures; A Case Study of Iranian Fans of the Korean Music Band EXO

Abstract
In this qualitative study, by studying the Iranian fans of the Korean music group Exo, we have shown the relationship between lifestyle and fan identity in the construction of digital subcultures. Each of the concepts of lifestyle and identity has played a role in creating a new form of virtual communities. In this study, which was conducted using the focus group interview method with a sample of 13 youth and adolescents, we concluded that Exo has an effect on the construction of youth lifestyle and in four components of leisure, cultural consumption priority, the importance of sports and fitness. And modeling in ethics has created a diverse set of meanings. In constructing the advocacy identity, we also reached an important component of advocacy support, which itself has dimensions such as: meanings and functions of Aksu support from the perspective of fans, meanings and functions of Aksu support from the perspective of fans, and the exchange value of support-love between Exo fans and members
