چکیده

مقاله تحقیقی حاضر با استفاده از رویکرد جامعه‌شناسی محیط زیست، به بررسی و مطالعه تجربی رابطه‌ی بین الگو یا پارادایم نوین زیست محیطی (The New Environmental Paradigm) و یکی از رفتارهای مسئولانه‌ی زیست محیطی یعنی مصرف انرژی می‌پردازد. برای انجام تحقیق حاضر، از روش پیمایش استفاده شده و برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، پرسشنامه به کار رفته است. جامعه آماری این مطالعه را مناطق شمالی کشور (استان‌های گیلان، مازندران و گلستان) تشکیل می‌دهند. برای تعیین نمونه از روش نمونه طبقه‌ای متناسب استفاده شده و پرسشنامه تحقیق بین 715 نفر پاسخگو توزیع گردیده است. پاسخگویان از هر دو جنس مرد و زن و از هر دو منطقه روستایی و شهری انتخاب شدند. نتایج حاصل از این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که نیمی از پاسخگویان الگوی نوین زیست محیطی را پذیرفته و اکثر آنها نیز از الگوی مطلوب مصرف انرژی (صرفه‌جویی در انرژی) پیروی نمودند. علاوه بر این ، نتیجه پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که الگوی نوین زیست محیطی، الگوی مصرف انرژی را هم در مناطق روستایی و هم در مناطق شهری تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. بنابر این، با استفاده از الگوی نوین زیست محیطی می‌توان الگوی مصرف انرژی خانگی را در مناطق شهری و روستایی مناطق شمالی کشور پیش‌بینی نمود.

New Environmental Paradigm and Energy Consumption

This paper investigates the relationship between new environmental paradigm (NEP) and energy consumption as an environmental responsible behavior. To conduct the research, a survey method was used and questionnaire was applied to collect data. People in the Northern regions (i.e., Golestan, Mazandaran and Geelan provinces) compose population of the study. Stratified sampling method was used to select the sample of the study and the questionnaires were distributed among 715 samples. The respondents were males and females and selected from rural as well urban residents. The results of the survey show that half of the sample accepted new environmental paradigm and majority of them applied desired pattern of energy consumption. Furthermore, the results indicated that the new environmental paradigm affects on pattern of energy consumption both in rural and urban areas. The overall results suggested that the new environmental paradigm can predict pattern of household energy consumption in rural as we as urban areas of the northern regions.
