چکیده

در این مقاله برای پاسخ به این پرسش که آیا جامعه شناسی و مطالعات فرهنگی در تخاصم با هم تعریف می‌شوند یا رابطه آن‌ها در اصل نوعی تعامل و تکمیل هم است، ضمن بررسی رابطه میان جامعه‌شناسی و مطالعات فرهنگی از دو رویکرد ذات‌باور و تبارشناسانه یاد کرده و با اتخاذ موضعی تبارشناسانه، این رابطه را در بستر اجتماعی انگلستان و امریکا بررسی کرده‌ایم. ضمن این بررسی، گسست‌هایی پارادایمی را که در مطالعات فرهنگی انگلستان رخ داده تشریح کرده و رابطه آن را با شرایط اجتماعی انگلستان سنجیده‌ایم. با این رویکرد معین می‌شود که به جای سخن از نسبت جامعه شناسی و مطالعات فرهنگی لازم است از رابطه جامعه شناسی ”ها” و مطالعات فرهنگی ”ها” سخن به میان آورد. بررسی رابطه این دو صورت‌بندی گفتمانی در انگلستان این امکان را فراهم می‌آورد که این رابطه را در ایران بررسی کنیم و شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌های آن را به ویژه با مصادیق انگلیسی‌اش بسنجیم و به این ترتیب راهی نشان داده شود که به‌توان در آن به بیشینه کردن دستاوردهای این دو حوزه رسید.

Sociology and Cultural Studies: Confronting, Consent, or Interaction (With a Glance to their Relationship in Iran)

What kind of relationship is there between sociology and cultural studies? Are these two confronting to each other or there is a kind of interdependency and completing relation between them? These are under discussion questions in this article. For dealing with these questions, essentialism and genealogical perspective review and, on the basis of genealogical perspective, the relationship between these two areas explore in the social context of Britain and America. In this exploration, the main paradigmatic ruptures expound in the British tradition of cultural studies and measure the relation between these ruptures and social condition in Britain. On this basis, instead of exploring about relationship between "sociology" and "cultural studies", relationship between “sociologies” and “varied cultural studies” come into view. Exploring in the relationship between these two discursive formations, especially in Britain, could help to explore this relationship in Iran and compare it with Britain. It could be helpful for maximizing the accomplishment of these areas.
