Abstract

Religious tourism is one of the oldest forms of cultural relationships among nations and ethnics. This kind of tourism is one of the most successful tourisms in this era. As a historical view point, Religious tourism is as old as history of religious. In this study the authors emphasize on the definition of pilgrimage and religious tourism at first and then after concerning on the statistics of these concepts, carry out a survey on tourists and pilgrimages of Jamkaran. By applying the model of SWOT and use 80 questionnaire authors analyse the opportunities and treatments of pilgrimage tourism of Iran.
