Abstract

Nowadays, social scientists pay a lot of attention to the cultural capital of societies and its role in the use of cultural commodities. The basic aim of this paper was to investigate the links between or the interaction of social identity and social capital on the one hand and cultural capital on the other hand in the population of the study. In this social Survey study, data were collected using questionnaires and interview techniques. The measurement scale and its reliability and validity for use with the research variables were checked using Cronbach's alpha. A survey of all people between 15 to 65 years in Kashan and Aran in 1390 was performed, 760 of whom were selected using Cochran’s formula. Results of Pearson Product Correlation coefficient analyses showed significant positive correlations between the variables of social capital and economic and social aspects of cultural capital.
