چکیده

این مطالعه پیمایشی با هدف مطالعه رابطه استفاده از تکنولوژی‌های نوین ارتباطی و انزوای اجتماعی در بین دانشجویان دانشگاه شیراز انجام شده است. 404 دانشجوی دختر و پسر با روش نمونه‌گیری چند مرحله‌ای از تمامی مقاطع تحصیلی بطور تصادفی انتخاب و پرسشنامه مربوطه را کامل کرده‌اند. این مطالعه تلاش کرده است با رویکردی زاویه‌بندی با استفاده از شاخص‌های متعدد به سنجش انزوای اجتماعی در دو بعد عینی (بی‌ارتباطی اجتماعی) و ذهنی (احساس تنهایی) بپردازد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که میزان استفاده از اینترنت با دو بعد انزوای اجتماعی رابطه معکوس و معنا‌داری دارد. اما این رابطه با میزان استفاده از موبایل معنادار نیست. نتایج این مطالعه حاکی از آن است که، از یکسو، تکنولوژی‌های نوین ارتباطی به خصوص اینترنت نه تنها منجر به کاهش روابط اجتماعی و انزوای افراد نشده‌اند، بلکه مکمل آنها بوده و آنها را تقویت نیز می‌کنند و از سوی دیگر، احساس تنهایی درک شده افراد را نیز کاهش می‌دهند. ما اطلاعاتی زیادی در مورد شبکه‌های اجتماعی آنلاین و آفلاین جوانان نداریم و تحقیقات آینده باید تمرکز خود را شبکه‌های اجتماعی افراد قرار دهند.
