The article, by investigating absent and present signs in the context of family photos through social semiotics in the context of the Iranian society, has answered the following questions:Which signs are recorded in family photos and which signs are forgotten, or are intentionally deleted from the family photo context? What are the reasons for deleting or the absence of these signs in family photos؟ It is obvious that some absent signs in family photos can be attributed to the social, cultural and perceptual structures of any age. This article is a review of the literature of absence, and by indicating the relationship of absence with concepts such as presence, prohibition, death, and memory from the perspective of Roland Barthes, Susan Sontag, Christian Metz, and Jacques Fontani, categorizes and defines the signs of absence in family photos. The findings of the research indicate that there have been four types of prohibition in the course of family photos in Iran: thematic prohibition, discourse prohibition, presence prohibition, and media prohibition. In this case, the prohibiting power of social and cultural discourses in elimination and causing absence of individuals in the history of family photos in Iran, has had greater effects than other barriers.}, keywords = {Family photo,Dramatically Theory,Absence,Social Semiotics,Discourse}, title_fa = {بررسی نشانه‌های غیاب در عکس‌های خانوادگی در ایران}, abstract_fa = {  آنچه در عکس‌های خانوادگی در ایران از روزگار ناصرالدین شاه تاکنون بازنمایی شده است، همه آنچه که در واقعیت در زندگی روزمره خانواده های ایرانی جاری بوده نیست، بلکه همواره برخی از موضوعات و اشخاص از متن عکس خانوادگی حذف شده و یا به حاشیه رانده شده‌اند. امروز بخشی از این نشانه‌های غایب را می‌توان با واکاوی نشانه‌هایی در متن عکس‌ها و تحلیل در بافت جامعه ایرانی دریافت. این مقاله با روش اسنادی-توصیفی با استفاده از روش نشانه‌شناسی اجتماعی به دسته‌بندی و تعریف نشانه‌های غیاب در عکس‌خانوادگی می‌پردازد. اینکه کدام نشانه‌ها در عکس‌خانوادگی ثبت می‌شود و کدام یک از آنها فراموش می‌شود یا عمدا از متن عکس خانوادگی حذف می‌شوند؟ دلایل حذف و به غیاب راندن این نشانه‌ها در عکس‌خانوادگی چیست؟ یافته‌های پژوهش که از مطالعه درزمانی و همزمانی عکس خانوادگی در ایران از زمان ناصرالدین شاه تا سال‌های پایانی دهه 80 به دست آمده است، بیانگر آنست که در سیر عکس خانوادگی در ایران شاهد چهار دسته منع و غیاب بوده‌ایم که عبارت‌اند از: غیاب‌موضوعی، گفتمانی(جنسیتی، طبقه ای و مذهبی)، حضوری(سوژه و عکاس) و رسانه‌ای(ماهیتی و تکنیکی).}, keywords_fa = {عکس‌خانوادگی,صحنه نمایشی,نشانه شناسی اجتماعی,گفتمان,غیاب}, url = {https://www.jcsc.ir/article_37359.html}, eprint = {https://www.jcsc.ir/article_37359_872774dc3e4dc1147f13b60258c1129f.pdf} }
